In the same way that you might own the original copy of a piece of physical art or the master file of a music recording, an NFT marketplace for art permits its purchaser to claim ownership of the original copy. It is essential to be aware that you do not own exclusive rights to the content, as opposed to, say, owning the rights to the book.
