I understand what you're saying about the marketplace and big influencers basically using their audience to pump up a project of theirs, however, I do think that NFT's can be fun for people when delivered correctly. It has definitely become a very greedy space and there is a lot of stolen art/scams, these are draining people's life savings when they aren't aware of the risks! In terms of the 'Metaverse', I do think these tokens can be very useful for the future and when used in Play2Earn games, they help the experience become more enjoyable for players and collectors. The technology is game changing but there's a lot of cleaning up to do!
