Can the Metaverse be used in education?

We all know that the Metaverse has quite the array of use cases. From NFT gaming marketplaces to art galleries, the Metaverse has it all. And recently, another application has emerged - education. The immersive experience that the Metaverse guarantees makes it perfect for education. And Toda, a city in Japan, is doing just that. In a bid to decrease absenteeism, the city has an option for schooling in the Metaverse. They believe that with the immersion, students may be able to learn by simply having fun. The Metaverse, therefore, may revolutionize education as we know it, making it more inclusive and holistic.
