Idea
Sports fans have been collecting cards for over 100 years. This is an ancient hobby that has changed only cosmetically over its long history.
Despite the rapid development of technology, until recently there was no opportunity to start a collection of sports cards online. And it's not even a lack of solutions. Many have attempted to transform the industry into digital. The main problem was that the uniqueness and rarity of digital cards was not confirmed by anything. Sports fans were not eager to give money for a graphic file located on the server.

The implementation of

Sorare is a digital sports asset trading platform that runs on the Ethereum blockchain. The site is a marketplace where sports geeks can start a collection of digital soccer players. The blockchain also solves the main problem - the uniqueness and limited edition of each of the cards is fully confirmed.
However, the user of the platform can not only buy packs with football players' cards, collect them, or trade cards on the exchange. Each of the cards can be used to participate in free fantasy football tournaments. In the latter, you can win more rare and valuable cards, as well as cash prizes.

Monetizing

The main way to monetize the platform is to sell packs of cards, as well as to sell individual (sometimes much rarer) cards at regular auctions.
The cost of one pack, which contains five cards of football players is € 20. The record price paid for the card at the auction was € 537.9 (Belgian midfielder Hans Vanaken card).

Future plans

We are first turn focused on building partnerships with football clubs and leagues. Sorare is currently officially licensed by the Belgian professional football league, as well as a number of Bundesliga and English Premier League clubs. Thus, each of the cards on the platform is a licensed crypto-asset.
In the long-term plans to improve the functionality of the platform, including the development of fantasy tournaments of the site, and much more. We'd love to hear from you if you take the time to test our product.

As for me, this is a pretty promising platform, judging by how many people of all ages are interested in football.

Literally for half a broadcast, you can dial up a composition that will bring in 0.02 per week (in some 0.04) and not fall in price, and practically nothing needs to be done. So far, the project looks extremely interesting, if it can take itself beyond the limits of crypt lovers, there will be a bomb.

an ordinary pyramid, no? The entire economy is based on new users / new deposits, so the prizes are created by selling new cards from the casino. At the same time, they themselves buy part of the cards, creating a turnover (at the start, the employees did not take a steam bath and stupidly traded with their accounts for several months, so that there was at least some semblance of excitement). A rather dull game for money: in adequate types of gambling, you can promote yourself without a deposit / from a small deposit of 10-20 euros, but here you have just zero chances for this = a sign of a bad system.

well, listen, you can say this about any poker room - it keeps on deposits, puts hausplayers during promotion, so that there is at least some kind of game.
And the idea is quite new and original, it can capture a much larger market than it is now ... Just in case, it can capture, but not exactly capture)

they say you have gained experience, you can't play more amateur ... play with everyone, but everywhere you need to buy at least 4 cards ... no thanks. And besides the deposit, you can't play anymore?

I think you shouldn't rate it as a fantasy room. these are football cryptokitties in the first place. and with chiliz's worthless fan tokens invariably making X's, the potential for the ecosystem to grow is huge with the addition of top clubs. besides, card trading is not the worst alternative to footballindex in prohibited countries aka the whole world except uk and Canada.
