How are NFTs being used for charity?

Donations and fundraising were major operations carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several volunteers did everything they could to make lives better for millions of people through charities that helped them. However, with physical currency out of the question, charities and NGOs turned to cryptocurrency to raise funds for their causes. NFTs, too, played, and continue to play, a vital role in helping the helpers. For instance, proceeds from NFT auctions are sometimes donated to charities. NGOs, too, have the option of minting their own NFTs and selling them on NFT platforms.

NFTs have allowed people to make a living through play-to-earn NFT gaming marketplaces. Now, going a step further, they can be used as a fundraising tool for charities that want to make the world a better place.
