What do you think of this project?

I may be missing something, I love the design, illustrations, UX and everything about this - but why would I need a digital version of a piece of artwork? strikes me that it's less valuable than a physical one?

Re: What do you think of this project?

The creations available on MakersPlace aren’t digital versions of physical artwork. They are digital artworks that were created digitally with the intention to be consumed digitally. That being said, today, digital creations are valued less than physical creations. Scarcity, tangibility, ownership, authenticity, resell value, all play into the perceived value of a creation — things that digital creations lack.

I want to thank the creators of the project, since they have opened a world of possibilities for creators and for people interested in art and creation. Creating a safe and transparent market that encourages the creation of more original and authentic works.

Of course that's what NFTs are about. It's all digital

Some platform with their customer base tend to prefer only digital forms of art. It is just some people's taste

Of course that's what NFTs are about. It's all digital
NFTs also can be photos of physical objects or arts so it is not that strict

Is there any platforms that specialize in fine art or sculpture NFTs? Is that a thing?

There are plenty of look alike NFTs but yes that might be good branding strategy
